This new year, dedication services still continue under the blessings of God. The Jeongnim Church in Daejeon and the Dongan Church in Anyang dedicated their beautiful temples on Jan. 15 and on Feb. 5th respectively; and on Feb 12th, there were dedication services for the Banyawol Church in Daegu and the Gyeongsan Church.

The Banyawol Church in Daegu is located in Yonggye-dong, Dong-gu in Daegu, and it is a building with one underground level and five floors above ground. The floor area of the building is about 25,600ft2, and the sanctuary has 600 seats. The temple has various spaces including a main sanctuary, a fellowship room, a cafeteria, audio visual rooms, a lounge, a reception room, a multipurpose hall and a kid’s room.

The Gyeongsan Church in Gyeongsan city, which is called “the university city” because it has 12 universities, is located near the downtown where there are major organs such as the train station, market and the city hall. It is easy
to find the church because it is located at the main road and the Namcheon River flows right beside it. The Gyeongsan Church expanded the inside area and got remodeled. The floor area of the building is about 39,800ft2 now, and the sanctuary has 550 seats. It has a main sanctuary, a fellowship room, a cafeteria, audio visual rooms, a lounge, a multi-purpose hall and a reception room. A small park is set up on the roof of the building, and it is going to be used as a place for resting.

The dedication service for the Banyawol Church started at 2:30 in the afternoon with 1,000 members. The dedication service for the Gyeongsan Church was kept along with the Third-day Service with 800 members.

Mother prayed that the blessing of bearing good fruit will be given to the members who worked hard to dedicate a new temple to God and to all the members around the world. She also asked the members to always hope for heaven, be happy and take care of themselves even though they face hardships due to the cold weather or financial difficulties.

General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol said, “I hope that all your families will be full of happiness and blessings of the Holy Spirit,” and he greeted the members, saying, “I thank all the members for working hard to dedicate a new temple to God whether working on the front line or behind the scenes.” Through a sermon titled, “Heaven where there is only Father, and heaven where there is Mother as well,” he testified that we have God the Father and God the Mother
as well in heaven just as each family has a father and a mother on earth.

The members who participated in the dedication service gave thanks to God for giving them a big and beautiful nest, and expressed their determination, saying, “Every day, we will preach about Christ who has come in the flesh, and
fill the empty seats with strong and good fruits so that we can repay God for His grace.”
