On September 10, the Berlin Church in Germany held “The 127th Worldwide Blood Drive to Give Life Through the Love of the Passover” at the Haema Blood Bank [Haema-Blutspendezentrum]. About 60 members from the church including citizens participated in this blood drive.
The members began to prepare for the blood drive one month before the event. They visited many hospitals and held little concerts, and actively informed many people of the blood drive. On the day of the blood drive, they also held a blood donation campaign for the citizens in front of the event place.
Paulisch, the Manager of Haema Blood Bank, thanked the volunteers, saying, “The Church of God showed the true love for mankind through this event.” Dr. Martens said, “I felt their true heart through this blood donation event. It was like a festival.”
