The students in Zion have a hope for preaching the gospel and God's love to all nations in English, which is the world's common language. They gathered at 'English Camp for Students' and had a wonderful week together. There were two purposes why this event was heldone was to make the students be able to preach the love of Christ to foreigners in English and the other was to improve their English ability. This was held for a week by 6 associations of the Church of God.

This camp was run by the representative branch Churches of each association and managed by the Overseas Department of the Head Office, from the 22nd to the 31st of August for 7 or 10 days according to the circumstances of each association. The main attendants were the middle and high school students who keenly need to study English. Representative branch Churches of each association were Kangnam West Association, Kangbuk Center Association, Incheon West Association, Kyunggi North-West Association, Daegu West Association and Ulsan Association.

The classes were about 1 or 2 hours in the evening time so that the students could attend them after school. Main curriculum were English conversation,
English for preaching the gospel, and Biblical English words. For a better effect, various programs were provided such as quiz about the Bible, OX quiz, some English games, singing new songs in English, and presenting a play in English. They focused on practical English more than theoretical one. The classes were run mostly by the students.

The number of the students who attended this camp reached 20 to 70 and the teachers were 4 to 7, in each association. It was a good chance, through which the students had confidence in speaking English and they broke their fixed idea that it is hard to master English. The students said that their English ability improved a lot and that they realized God's love even more through this camp.

On the last day, August 31, they had an event called, 'Evening in Zion,' through which the students showed their parents what they had learned for a week; they sang new songs in English, had an English play, and preached the gospel in English. The parents gave a loud clap to their children, being pleased to see their English power being improved a lot.

The students gave thanks to God for allowing this event, saying, "We can feel that God is encouraging us students a lot these days. We've realized that God wants us to save all nations by preaching to them," "We want to be God's children who can achieve our passionate dream to preach the gospel. Through this camp, our resolution for the gospel has become more firm. We will do our best to preach the good news." They also hoped that this kind of camp would be held continually because through the camp not only did their English ability improve, but they also became more faithful, passionate and bold for the gospel.

The representatives of each association and the teachers said, "The main purpose of this education is to improve the students' English ability so that they can tell the truth with confidence to whomever they meet. We also hope that they will have a firm hope for heaven and plan for the future by studying English. The students will lead the gospel work in the future. We hope that they will do their best in everything with fervor that they've got through this event, so that they can give glory to God by showing good examples to their parents and friends."

The Overseas Department of the Head Office is planning to run 'English Camp' with better programs, so that the students can be provided with a better chance to study English and reveal God's glory.

Even though the event was not long, the students became more bold, confident, and fervent. The students said, "We will lead the gospel work in these last days." From them we could feel the braveness of David who killed Goliath in the name of God. We hope that all the students can be the gospel workers like dew, doing their best in their own situation and keeping their pure faith to the end.
