The 62nd Overseas Visiting Group

On Apr. 13 while the spring rain relieved drought and washed away all the dust, there were people who visited Korea and were more welcomed than the timely rain after a long drought. It was the heavenly family members who flew from distant countries like clouds and like doves to their nests, as the 62nd Overseas Visiting Group.
The 62nd Overseas Visiting Group consisted of 211 members from 95 Zions in 16 countries from North America, Europe, and Oceania such as the U.S., Canada, the U.K., France, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden, Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Australia, New Zealand, and Turkey. Ninety-eight percent of them visited Korea for the first time, and more than ninety percent of the members were young adults in their 20s or 30s who had been in the truth for one to five years; most of them received God Elohim with a firm faith, and they were God’s youth like the morning dew who wanted to devote themselves to the gospel by seeing Mother and learning Her love.
Mother warmly welcomed Her children who had flown from distant countries, and expressed Her joy and gratitude. The members who were embraced in Mother’s arms were filled with overwhelming excitement and shed tears. Mother greeted them in English and other languages, “I am happy to be with you,” and “Please tell other brothers and sisters who couldn’t come this time that I miss them and that I love them.” She also asked the brothers and sisters to let Her know if there was any inconvenience while staying in Korea since we are all family members. Mother also prayed for everybody to receive much blessing of the Holy Spirit and become great prophets who would find our heavenly family members scattered around the world.
The overseas members studied the truth at the Head Office and the training institutes. They also shared the heavenly family love with Korean members by visiting Zions in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province, and Chungcheong Province. At the Elohim Training Institute surrounded by the cherry blossoms in full bloom, they admired the beauty of nature and the power of God. They also realized the sacrifice of Christ as well as the development of Korea by looking around Hwaseong Fortress, Gwanghwamun Gate, and Seoul Towel, and learning the history of the Church of God in the Church of God History Museum.
During the whole visit, Mother stayed with them, taking care of them, listening to their sermon preaching, and giving counseling. In Mother’s love, the members’ faith, hope, and love became more mature. Through Mother’s examples and teachings, they realized the meaning of sacrifice and love, and the value of the kingdom of heaven more deeply, expressing, “I really felt that Mother’s love is unconditional and infinite,” “I learned many things through Korean brothers and sisters’ heartfelt welcome and service,” “The whole time I spent with Mother was like a dream,” “I felt like I was in heaven.” Although they felt sad to leave, they were all determined to diligently preach Mother’s love so that they would find all the lost brothers and sisters and live all together in heaven forever.
